+ have listened to this 10+ times, legit. I'm sort of in love with it now? I hated the second section for a long time until I found some other songs and now it tells me a beautiful story. a fair number of instrumental, some with heavy lyrics. I'm not much of a lyric person, preferring the instrumental feel of the song (which most of them were chosen for) but there are lyrics that help communicate how I meant the song to fit in, so I've included them. the last track starts about 1:23 in, and what you have to know about the song is in english.

Just letting you guys know that I've added onto the let the sunshine filter through mix, with some extra songs I put onto a bathroom CD - hence, the b(athroom)-sides. ^_^

I occasionally do take a set of photos that has a cohesive "theme," as you could say. Well it might be a propensity to hitting the shutter button, but sometimes the batch comes out nicely and hey, that's enough reason to share, isn't it?

I started going through and bookmarking photos to upload today, and there are so many of them (72, and the last is from Thanksgiving) I thought I should stop procrastinating. Here are the photos as summer faded into autumn and school started, among other things. Oh, and I forgot to fix the width when I was uploading, so the direct URL will show a high quality version of the photo! I haven't included links, though, because they're a ton of hassle. let the sunshine filter through. at any point in the day, it is in fact possible to make your day better. sometimes, all you need is a good song to remind you, morning or afternoon or evening.

+ for backtograce, who wanted "good mood music." I honestly went and pulled from a ton of my playlists, going to old favourites because familiar songs always put me in good moods. :p it was odd, though, I realised the strangest songs put me in a good mood, so I had to filter that. and yes, the order progresses through the day. ;)

I recently bought a Holga camera (promptly named Matilda) that is cheap and plastic and takes fabulous film photos. It takes a lot of experimentation and yeah, the photos are hit-and-miss, but I have so much fun it's totally worth it. Here are the salvageable good ones. :)

I wrote this story in October of 2005, on nothing but images flitting about in my mind, Hermione as a child, in the garden, with her parents. To my surprise, hurried typing as my family set dinner around me led to this, and after getting my dear friend Jennifer to beta it, I posted it to Mugglenet Fanfiction here. It got a response far beyond that what I'd imagined, getting featured one month, nominated for a Quicksilver Quill both this and last year. (Thank you so, so much for the nominations. I had tears in my eyes today when I saw the nomination post, and last year left me quite speechless.) People have left amazing reviews, and this fanfiction has so much of my heart invested in it that it's a part of me, as stories should be. In January I was going to edit a couple parts and post it, but of course I haven't committed 'til now. It's as I first posted in it almost three years ago, with a couple minor edits on suggestions. It is as it is.
